Hello all! I apologize for the recent gap in posts but with the end of the semester at Point Park I was swamped with things to do and couldn't find the time to blog. However, now with all of that aside you can expect many weekly posts from The Pittsburgh Coffee Pot.

Honor Mother Earth and celebrate World Fair Trade Day with some great music, food and dance."Fair trade" is an organized social movement and market-based approach that aims to help producers in developing countries and promote sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a "fair price" as well as social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of a wide variety of goods.Ten Thousand Villages, a non-profit store, offers a full day of fun complete with live music performance by local artists like Ishtar, the "world's largest coffee break" and plenty of surprises. "The Gospel Café" is a program that welcomes children and provides a nice mix of traditional gospel music with gospel hip-hop hosted by Mele Mel The Poetic Prophet and DJ Goodnight with performances by Mele Mel, COHAD, B.O.N.D.E.D., T.I.G. (Trust In God) and many more.Food provided by K-Sara Catering. This is an all-ages show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more information call (412) 758-1980.
